The standard

How we do things is like no other.

Allow us the opportunity to show you, or your clients, how it should be done.

  1. Unmatched skill and turnaround

The examination is thorough, and the file does not sit. That pace is the point of the practice.

  2. Same day, or within 24 hours

When an application or a physician’s order cannot wait, a visit can be arranged the same day or inside a day.

  3. Professional, courteous, caring

Examiners are skilled and personal. Clients are treated with quiet respect, in their own surroundings.

  4. A direct line, after five and on weekends

Agents reach the examiner one to one. Scheduling and updates stay simple, including evenings and weekends.

  5. A wide, plainly stated service area

From a home base in Lee County, the practice covers thirteen counties. The map shows exactly which ones.

Services

The examination, in full.

Blood draws, a complete paramedical exam, and the studies a life or disability file, or a physician, usually requires. Done where the client already is, then carried to the proper lab.

Gloved hands draw blood from a client’s arm, with the arm resting on a white cloth.

Blood draws

In the comfort of home or office, blood is drawn and dropped off at the proper lab for primary care and specialty physicians, and for life and disability insurance requirements.

An examiner measures a seated client’s blood pressure in a bright, quiet office.

Paramedical exams

The examiner asks about medical history, including current and previous physicians, hospitalizations, diagnostic testing, and medications. It helps to have that information ready before the appointment.

Height, weight, and blood pressure are taken. Waist and chest measurements are taken for men.

EKG / ECG

An EKG is a record of the heart’s electrical activity. Ten sensors are placed on the chest around the heart, and the tracing is recorded. Lying down is customary. Sitting is also acceptable, and often the better position at a workplace.

Urine collection

Most insurance companies require a urine sample. If the client has used the bathroom recently, the examiner will suggest drinking some water before the collection.

TVC / peak flow

Spirometry is the most common pulmonary function test. It measures the volume and speed of air inhaled and exhaled into the sensor, as hard and as long as possible. The effort is repeated twice more, then recorded.

Stress EKG / treadmill

The client walks on a treadmill for a short time while connected to an ECG machine. Blood pressure is checked and recorded through the effort.

A visit

From the call to the lab.

  1. Call or write

Reach the examiner directly, including after 5 p.m. and on weekends. Say whether the file is for insurance or for a physician, and which county the client is in.

  2. We come to them

The appointment is at home or the office. Same-day or 24-hour service is available. Have physician names, hospitalizations, testing, and medications ready for a paramedical exam.

  3. The file keeps moving

Specimens are dropped at the proper lab. The agent stays informed from scheduling through completion, without being handed off.
